After coming back from our first ministry trip to Japan in December 2024, the Faith Community Church Japan worship team was tasked with putting together bilingual Japanese/English worship videos, ostensibly for use by a connect group that was meeting in our mission house in Fukuoka.
When the first batch of songs came out on Youtube in 2025, I was surprised that it went well beyond the connect group. We later learned that it was being distributed amongst other churches in Japan. A friend of mine who runs a bilingual church in Melbourne had also started using the videos as a resource for his church’s worship team.
Over the last few weeks, we released the latest set of five songs. You can have a listen to them below.
Two of these songs, “On That Day” and “Jesus I’m in Love with You” are native Japanese worship songs.
“Praise” has also reached 20,000 views since it was released 3 weeks ago.
