Siska Sands is one of our Youth Pastors (our youth ministry at Faith Community Church is called Kinetic). She has not only stewarded Kinetic (along with our other Youth Pastor) to a place of depth and growth, but she is an amazing worship leader in her own right, having led Kinetic Worship until recently.
As part of (now) an older generation of worship leaders, I have observed how Siska has imbued a passion for God’s presence in the young people, but not only that, Kinetic’s worship ministry has now become a seedbed for next generational leadership in our broader music team. At what Ross Parsley calls “The Family Worship Table”, the younger team members are pushing us older ones to keep innovating!
Siska loves songwriting and I’m so glad she is part of our pilot group. Every time I hear her fresh song ideas, they are always full of originality, but more importantly, her songs just tug at the heart.
So here is Siska’s song, “Song of Ages (Revelation 4)”, based on the picture of heavenly worship depicted in Revelation 4.
